It's funny 'cuz it's true (sadly)

I (used to) write anime fan-fiction. (That's right. I'm a geek. What was your first clue?)

I haven't written in a long, long time, for a variety of reasons; lack of inspiration, lack of free time, the fact that living in Japan makes one realize that just about everything in fanfiction is wrong...

About that last, it seems that in the fan-fiction community (and, in fact, the anime fandom itself) there are a lot of wanna-be Japanese out there.

And that's why this is funny. Trust me.
