What a crappy way to wake up

Level 3 earthquake, on the Japanese 1-7 scale. It was level 5+ at the epicenter. Kind of scary, although no damage to speak of. The TV news isn't reporting any major damage anywhere yet, although they are pointing out that this one could be felt over most of the western half of Japan.

Rob, Glad to see you are still kicking around in Japan. This is Kristi, your long lost Higashiichiki predecessor. I am living in France...actually missing Japan these days. Send me a hello at kyaskot@hotmail and I can tell you about my kidney stone adventure in a French hospital a few summers ago. Real fun stuff. Drink more water dude! :) I have a blog as well on blogger, theproposalproject.blogspot.com it follows a massive road trip I did this spring to interview men for a book I am working on, also fun stuff! In fact I plan to be updating it this afternoon! Ciao, mata ne! Kristi
