Rob is NO LONGER in Japan
"He sat down on a grassy bank and looked at the city that surrounded him, and thought, one day he would have to go home. And one day he would have to make a home to go back to." -- Neil Gaiman, "American Gods"

1 Comments:
I managed to depart Tokyo without any problem
on Thursday afternoon, roughly 8 hours before the typhoon (named Fitow in one report I read) was supposed to make landfall. And landfall was expected SW of Tokyo, so everyone told me not to worry about problems at the airport.
Sunny and 20C and *dry* air here, courtesy of our friends in Canada. The damn-humid-and-thank-God-it-isn't-even-hotter weather was one of only two things I didn't like about this visit to Tokyo. (Louise in MN was the other.)
