Just got back from Osaka...

It's Golden Week, and I took advantage of the time off to spend a couple of days in Osaka. Verrrry interesting. As soon as I get the photos uploaded, I'll say more.

Random observations: Lots of iPod users. More foreigners than I've seen in a while. Random shopkeepers expect me to be fluent in Japanese.

Things I hadn't seen in a while (that I was VERY happy to see again): Wendy's. Subway Sandwich shops.

Hard Rock Cafe -- and a chimichanga. mmmMMMMMM....

Details dude. You know I haven't been there (minus the airport...twice...once unintentionally)

Ja, what he said, details!

Wendy's? Ok, ok, so I've become a Wendy's convert after being a MacDonald's die-hard believer for so many years. But ... well, maybe things would be different if I were living in Japan for so long. But, darn it, I would *really* like to think that I'd be too busy eating yakiniku or three dozen other things to bother with American-style fast food. Except for the occasional french fry craving.

Hm. Perhaps it wasn't the mediocre beef that called to Rob. Perhaps it was the perfect potato calling!
