Craving of the moment
I could seriously go for a big bowl of hot spicy chili right about now.
With beans...
...and cheese...
...and crackers...
Time to check Costco's Japan website.
....
Hm. It seems that chili powder is readily available...do I want to learn how to make chili from scratch?

I had chili yesterday, but I did not have it with crackers.
Did have cheese though.
Hate me yet?
No crackers? Nah, don't hate you for that.
It's all those OTHER reasons...
(^-^)
Heck, if *I* can make chili from scratch, you can :)
Aym
Yeah Rob, go out there and make those chili beans from scratch.
It's especially hard to make chili beans after grabbing a can of kidney beans off the shelf.....
Putting beans in chili in Texas is a good way to get tarred & feathered & run outta town, so perhaps skipping them is a good idea. If there are Texans nearby, that is. In Sakaiminato. I hear those Texan fishermen down by the harbor *really* hate beans.
A beanless chili is for the weak.
Better be careful there, Doug... The issue of beans in chili/on the side as fixin's is a deeply divisive one in the South. Religious wars have been started for less.
(That being said, being a damnyankee, I always had beans in the chili....)
